For those looking for some last-minute guidance, I have rounded up some information from the city, profile recaps, debate recordings and more:

Message from the City of Salem:

Tuesday, November 5th is the City of Salem’s Biennial Election.
The Polls will be open for voting from 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Also, a reminder to all Ward 6 Voters, Precinct 1 and Precinct 2, that your polling location has been relocated to the Bates School, in the Gymnasium, 53 Liberty Hill Ave. The new voting entrance is through the Main Doors.
The elections office at City Hall, 93 Washington Street Room #5 will be open on November 5th during voting hours if you have any questions.

Who Is Running?  How Can I Learn More About Them?

We have three decisions to make here in Ward 6 in this election:

  • Ward 6 City Councillor: Two candidates are running.  We each get to vote on ONE choice on Tuesday.  
  • City Councillors at Large: Eight candidates are running.  We each get to vote on FOUR choices on Tuesday.
  • School Committee: Six candidates are running.  We each get to vote on THREE choices on Tuesday.  

Several local organizations have worked hard this year to give us lots of opportunities to learn so much about the candidates.  Here are some excellent ways to learn more:
